SpecRisk AIReview - $99
Construction specification book and document review report on an estimator desk

AI-assisted construction spec review for estimators

Review construction specs faster with AI.

Upload a construction project manual or specification book and get an AI-generated report highlighting insurance requirements, warranty clauses, schedule constraints, unusual specifications, and other items that may require estimator review.

One-time payment. Users remain responsible for final review and bidding decisions.

Problem

Large spec books slow down estimating review.

Estimators are asked to review large project manuals quickly while important requirements sit across general conditions, insurance exhibits, warranties, submittals, closeout sections, and product specifications.

SpecRisk AI helps organize important clauses and flags language that may require closer review before your team finalizes its bid.

FAQ

What document should I upload?

Upload one PDF construction project manual, specification book, bid/spec PDF, or relevant specification sections. The best files include general conditions, insurance, warranties, schedule, submittals, closeout, and product requirements.

Are only PDFs accepted?

Yes. The MVP accepts PDFs only. Word documents, images, ZIP files, CAD files, and other formats are outside the current workflow.

Do you analyze drawings or blueprints?

No. SpecRisk AI currently reviews project manual and specification text only. It does not analyze drawings, blueprints, quantity takeoffs, or CAD files.

How large can the PDF be?

The current upload limit is 25 MB per PDF.

What happens after upload?

Your request is saved as pending payment, the PDF is stored in private Supabase Storage, and you continue to Stripe checkout. Processing starts only after Stripe confirms payment through a verified webhook.

When is payment collected?

Payment is collected after the form and PDF upload are saved. The review is a $99 one-time payment per project manual/specification book.

How is payment matched to my submission?

The preferred flow uses Stripe Checkout Sessions with a submission identifier in Stripe metadata/client reference. A legacy Payment Link fallback may match by customer email if stronger metadata is unavailable.

What happens if payment succeeds but processing fails?

Contact support. If the system cannot process the document or generate the purchased report because of a technical failure, a refund may be available under the Refund Policy.

What happens if I upload but do not pay?

Unpaid submissions remain pending payment. Uploaded PDFs for unpaid submissions are deleted by the cleanup process after 24 hours.

How long are unpaid documents retained?

Unpaid uploaded PDFs are retained for up to 24 hours, then deleted when the cleanup process runs.

How long are paid documents and reports retained?

SpecRisk AI retains submitted information, paid documents, reports, payment records, and support communications as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business records, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, and improve quality.

Is the report legal or estimating advice?

No. SpecRisk AI provides AI-assisted document review and decision support only. It is not legal, engineering, insurance, construction, or professional estimating advice.

Can I request a refund?

Refunds may be available for technical failures, duplicate charges, or billing errors. Refunds are generally unavailable after a report has been successfully generated and delivered. Requests are reviewed individually.

How do I contact support?
